Winner of the inaugural James Dyson Sustainability Award, AuREUS is an innovative technology that utilizes organic luminescent compounds derived from fruit and vegetable waste to convert high-energy ultraviolet waves into electricity. Remarkably, this material can absorb UV light and generate power even on cloudy and rainy days.

Our production team documented Carvey’s inspiring journey and the science behind his invention. The video captures his bold vision to seamlessly integrate AuREUS into typical glass windows, effectively transforming entire buildings into vertical solar energy farms.
